Handle - Front Facing, Reinforced
The drawing to the left depicts a plastic bag with cutout
handles that have been reinforced by a second layer of
plastic welded on the inside. Such bags work well unless
the welded support detaches from the bags, in which case
the handle then stretches to failure. Handles and their
reinformcement can be further strengthened by folding
the bag's top material over the handle to increase the
amount of stress the handle can support. |
