Handle-Glued, Flattened Paper
This handled bag is nothing more than a grocery bag
with two flat paper handles glued to the bag's outside.
The places of likely failure are the four glued contact
areas that connect the two handles with the bag. These
must sustain the sheer forces exerted
by the bag's load and user's upward pull on the handles.
Look at Movie 1 to see how much of a load this design
was able to sustain before failure. Paper fails suddenly,
so watch the replay in slow motion to get all of the
details that can suggest ways you might make this a
stronger bag. |
