System and Software Requirements
System Requirements
To run DITC on a computer, you need either a Macintosh
or PC that can run Microsoft’s Internet Explorer
5.x or later, Netscape Communicator 6.x or later, or Safari
(Mac only). If DITC's movies do not play, you may need
to double your browser's minimum required memory in order
for them to run.
QuickTime Player
To play a DITC video movie you must have Quicktime
installed on your system. If you do not, the system
will let you know how to download the program.

to download the most current version. |
Javascript
You must have Javascript enabled in your browser to
view the DITC web-based materials properly. This setting
should be enabled by default. If you are having trouble
please visit the Javascript
Instruction page.
Printing
If your printouts of DITC pages look as if there
are missing sections, as in the image to the right,
you need to select Print Backgrounds in your browser.
Please follow the instruction that pertains to your
browser below:
- Safari (Macintosh): Select Print under the File menu. Select Safari under the menu labelled "Copies & Pages," and check "Print Backgrounds"
- Internet Explorer (Macintosh): Select Print under the File menu. Select Internet Explorer under the menu labelled "Copies & Pages," and check "Print Backgrounds"
- Internet Explorer (PC): Select
Internet Options under the Tools Menu, select the
Advanced tab, and check Print Backgrounds
